A photo essay I commissioned and designed from photographer Jamila Noritz Reyes. The piece was about her complicated relationship with her sisters, and how the pandemic allowed her to reconnect with her sister she had a falling out with. I was excited about bringing this into the magazine during COVID when so many people are either spending a lot more time with their family than before or haven’t been able to see their families in so long.
